G-1116 - 11/16 inch - Buffed Tire Grating

The G-1116 is the 11/16 inch Buffed Tire Grating of the G-series made with nylon-reinforced tire strips and designed for maximum durability and absorbance.  The G-1116 recessed grating is available in both a standard Single Tread and an improved Double Tread format so that absorption and scraping capacity can be scaled to each project. The tire treads are supported by heavy-duty aluminum bars that are designed to supplement scraping and support the grating structure. These buffed tire gratings were engineered to be extremely long-lasting, when properly maintained they can be flipped to double the recessed mat’s lifespan. Also note, the treads of the G-1116 are made of recycled nylon-reinforced tire strips availing this mat of an abundance of LEED credit options.
